Origami Marquees create beautiful and luxurious events without a negative environmental impact. We want to help limit the earth’s warming and protect the people and places that matter to us. We are a small company, but we genuinely believe that our responsibility is to strive for complete sustainability whilst inspiring others to do the same.
We consider our impact on people and the planet in everything we do, but here is a small selection of the things Origami already does to help protect our natural surroundings’ beauty.
As a multi-service provider, we transport all of our equipment and staff in fewer trips then juggling multiple suppliers. We can also use a satellite view instead of a site visit to scope out the event’s location.
We will remove all traces of rubbish when we pack away your event. All bottles and cans are recycled for events where we are providing a bar service. We continue to use recycled products such as paper where available.
For events with no access to mains electricity, we can provide solar power instead of diesel generators. Furthermore, we use only the most energy-efficient lighting & appliances available.
Our bars never have and will never serve a drink in a single-use plastic container. Where glassware is not an option, we use biodegradable glasses.
We plant one tree for every event we produce and provide our clients with the opportunity to plant one tree for every guest that attends their celebration.
